The CTC-VISTA Project
The Community Technology Centers' AmeriCorps VISTA Project, the most popular and sought after in the entire AmeriCorps system, oversees the recruitment, placement, and value-added support of AC*VISTA members in CTCs, media centers, community networks and support organizations across the country.
Community Technology
Review:
The ComTechReview, established in 1994, is the official publication
of CTCNet and the Association for Community Networks and is
published both online and in hard copy editions. It provides
organizational updates and features profiles, resources, and
best practice coverage across the entire field of community
media and technology.
The Commonwealth Broadband
Collaborative:
The CBC is an innovative university-community regional partnership
designed to provide cable and Internet programming, distribution,
training, support, and related resources to media and technology
activists and practitioners and to underserved populations.
The
Boston Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Electronic Filing and
Technology Access Project
Designed to return millions of dollars in federal and state
taxes to low-income Boston residents by deploying a new online
application system, this project, funded by the Dept. of Commerce
Technology Opportunities Program, is a partnership with the
CPCS Community Resource Center, CTCNet, Survivors, Inc., and
the Boston EITC Coalition.
