Tactical Media
Four 20minute documentaries produced by Media Working Group and
students from the Community Media and Technology Program: Transmitted
nationally via cable/satellite link created by Cambridge Community
Television during the Democratic National Convention.
The Tactical Media Clinic is a collaborative experiment in
project-based learning being undertaken by The
Community Media and Technology Program at UMass Boston's College of Public and
Community Service and
Media Working Group. Using
the expanding capabilities of new digital media, the Internet,
and satellite, the project includes a "Tactical Media Clinic" to
enable students, media artists, and community media makers
to participate and intervene in the world-wide shift in media
culture and politics.
