Mission Statement:

The Tactical Media 05' group has been formed to promote awareness and understanding of media and technology policy in the Boston area and beyond. We will engage area communities through educational initiatives in that arena with an eye towards fostering social activism and using media and technology to help bridge the digital divide."

Tactical Media 04

was a collaborative experiment in project- based learning being undertaken by The Community Media and Technology Program at UMass Boston's College of Public and Community Service and Media Working Group.

Four 20 minute documentaries produced by Media Working Group and students from the Community Media and Technology Program: Transmitted nationally via cable/satellite link created by Cambridge Community Television during the Democratic National Convention.
