Margaret
Rhodes is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the College
of Public and Community Service, University of Massachusetts/Boston
, where she teaches undergraduate courses on ethics, critical
thinking and justice and also teaches the graduate course on human
service ethics. She also teaches occasionally as an adjunct in
the PhD. Program at Simmons School of Social Work. She has written
a book on ethics, entitled Ethical Dilemmas in Social Work Practice,
published by Family Service America, as well as several papers
exploring aspects of ethics in human services. She has served
on the Massachusetts NASW Ethics Commission, including its hotline,
and served on the Donaldson Adoption Institute's Ethics Advisory
Committee, which developed information papers on adoption and
the new reproductive technologies.
