Professor
Ybarra has been teaching undergraduate courses in writing at CPCS
since 1995. His area of expertise is in Communication difficulties
and cultural differences between Latino students and Anglo-mainstream
instructors, and writing difficulties that Latino students have
in English. He plays an important role at CPCS advising students
on how to prepare a writing portfolio, and facilitating writing
workshops that prepare students to become better writers. He is
also the faculty advisor to the Latino Student Organization: CASA
LATINA.
