The Labor Committee to Support Immigrant Worker Rights The Labor Committee to
Support Immigrant Worker Rights is an ad hoc group of union members and
supporters in Eastern Massachusetts who believe that both organized
labor and the immigrants' rights movements will grow stronger to the
extent that they make common cause. With that in mind, we propose
to do what we can to support the rights of immigrant workers and
strengthen the links between our two movements.
The Labor Committee to Support Immigrant Worker Rights will: • Educate ourselves and other members of our unions about immigration and immigrant workers’ concerns; • Develop and share strategies for building inclusive unions; • Mobilize our members to protect and support the rights of all immigrant workers. If you are interested in joining, or learning more about the Labor Committee, please send us an email so we can contact you. |
