Mr. Binda is a 1998 Graduate of Labor Studies Program, and was awarded a Master Degree in Science in the Discipline of Union Leadership and Administration from the University of Massachusetts in 2002. Since then he has been on staff with the Graphic Communications Conference of the International Brotherhood of Teamster as an Instructor and curriculum development for the Leadership Program. He has conducted many seminars in negotiations, leadership, internal organizing, steward training, health and safety. He has also served on the Labor Resource Center’s Advisory Board since 1998.
Mr. Binda has been an active member of The Boston Newspaper Printing Pressmen’s Union Local 3N for the past 27 years with roles as a shop steward, negotiating team, apprentice coordinator, and health and safety team. He has also been involved with many community and labor projects in the Boston Area.
