From July 23-26, 2007, the College hosted numerous guests as part of the conference Rebuilding Sustainable Communities in Iraq, including Dr. Raja’a Al-Khuzai, president of the National Council and former member of the Iraqi Governing Council (left, with CPCS Dean Adenrele Awotona); Riadh Tappuni, Architect, Urban Planner Director, Development & Design International Former Coordinator of the Iraq Task Force & Leader of the Urban Development & Housing Policies Team at the United Nations Economic & Social Commission for Western Asia; and Dr. Beriwan M. Khailany, Deputy Minister, Ministry Of Higher Education & Scientific Research, Baghdad, Iraq.
