CPCS
students with faculty display the “ALICE” Award from the National
Commission on Working Women, for first place for a radio documentary
entitled “Workfare: Anatomy of a Policy” in 1982. This documentary
was the result of many months of CPCS students working together
to demonstrate competencies and produce a vehicle to get out the
message about the problems facing women on welfare and low income
workers
