Requirements
Students
majoring in Gerontology are required to complete six core competencies:
To
complete their major requirements, Gerontology majors may select
the Advanced Practice or Social Policy concentrations in Gerontology
or they may select one of the other concentrations available at
CPCS.
Students
majoring in Community Planning, Community Studies, Human Services
or Legal Education may also opt to do a four competency concentration
in Gerontology.
Like
all programs at CPCS, the Gerontology program provides students
with many exciting learning options, including community-based
learning projects, internships, and interactive classroom experiences.
