Microsoft Excitement

I just got the boost of energy I needed for my job right now. I've been feeling a little burnt-out recently with the responsibility of writing grants, beginning to teach a new class, etc, etc. But, I just received a phone call from Deanna Adams, the lead for Community Affairs Microsoft PacWest District. We talked about La Casa Hogar, and she thinks we would be a perfect fit for their Unlimited Potential grant. They don't currently fund anyone like us, but they are interested in reaching new groups of people. Their grant funds are far more flexible than the majority of grants I have come across. They fund up to $25,000 or $50,000-some money this organization could definitely use!

I've already begun the inital proposal, but it always helps to have a contact person that you can connect with when writing a grant. Anyway, this was just the burst of energy I needed to get me through a cloudy Thursday at work.
