A Time for Color

(Allow me to be a cornball for a moment. Thanks.)

Springtime is an exciting time for me. A time for color and growth. A time for new ideas, new projects, for setting goals and pushing ahead. La, la, la.

Around HQ, we're gearing up for a new set of VISTAs. Applications for next August are pouring in already. Did you know that the CTC VISTA Project is among the most popular AmeriCorps*VISTA projects? It's true, and I have a million and two email inquiries and apps to prove it.

We're also preparing to say good-bye to Liz Barnes and eight graduating VISTAs: Shlonda Brouchet, Derek Hixon, Ella Holden, Dirk Knoedler, Colette Mahoney, Katie Peterson, Ilirjan Qirici, and Ted Simpao. Congratulations to you all. I hope your next adventures are totally awesome.

What's on your agenda this spring? If you want, I can help you share that with the rest of the VISTAs here, with VISTAs in general, with our supporters and our new applicants. Please send your updates (personal and VISTA) to me, along with any pictures you want to share and any events we can highlight.

Happy spring, everyone.
